digicam woes

I have a rev B, 9.2.2, and I think I trashed an extension, as 
suddenly my iMac no longer recognizes my camera (Olympus 740 Zoom). 
Instead I get the "initialize disk" dialog box. The extensions that I 
am familiar with that should be there are there, but I'm missing 
something. I have had no previous trouble like this. Any ideas?
