I then click on the postage stamp icon in the sidebar and Safari opens.
Is there something else I could possibly do?
Thank you!
Mary
(your reply) Safari is not an email client. Are you using some kind of webmail? If so some webmail providers handle pictures and inbedded flies differently. Best to ask them.

I looked in Safari's Prefs --> View and I do have that Display item already checked.
Any other info would be GREATLY appreiciated!
Thanks!

Hi! I'm running OSX 10.2.4 with Safari 1.0v85.
Now with Safari, half the time I don't get the graphics in incoming email. Often when I do, they are not in order with the message, but all together in a group at the bottom of the email. (There are gray boxes in the message where the graphics should be).
Half the time when I send out email with graphics, my friends write back that they were no graphics. Often when my friends reply back, the graphics ARE in the reply!!!
What is going on???? Thanks!!
As Mark said: Safari is not an email client. Are you using "Mail" which is the one with the postage stamp icon, probably showing in your dock. If you are using that then open it and look up at the top menu to the right of the blue apple icon where it says Mail. Open that and go down to "Preferences" and open it. In the Preferences window go to "View" and open it. Make sure the second check box down is checked. "Display Images and imbedded objects..." That could be your problem. If you're using a web based email client, some of them have a similar control that you can change in "options" or Preferences or whatever they call it.
