Dan--

I did not state it clearly. Sorry!

I connect to the Internet--then
I click on the Safari icon in the Jaguar dock
my Earthlink home page opens--
I hear the mail message
then I click on the mail postage stamp icon on the Jaguar dock
I open the emails I want to read

I often get emails with graphics--
some with the graphic in the right place--or--
I get a gray box where the graphic is supposed to be in the message and all the graphics piled at the bottom of the email--or--
I get no graphics at all

Hope this is a bit clearer--I should have done a step-by-step the first time. (Doing it right saves time in the long run!)

Now---if anyone has a clue to how I can ALWAYS get the graphics I'd appreciate it. (I do have accept graphiics checked in the Saafari Prefs).

Thank you one and all!

Mary

PS I had once read in this board that in the new Jaguar it's possible just to drag any graphic in email to the desktop and, voil--it's there. It works with a graphic I can see--but NOT with those gray boxes mentioned above.

Mark--I got Earthlink, like you. When I sign on, my home page comes up
and i hear mail truck or whatever.
I then click on the postage stamp icon in the sidebar and Safari opens.

Is there something else I could possibly do?

Mary-

There is something unclear to me in your description above. When you
sign on to Earthlink and get to your home page-- what browser are you
in on your home page? Safari? If so are you trying to access your
(web?) mail from within your home page? You said that you click on your
sidebar (do you mean Jaguars dock?) on the postage stamp (which is for
the program called Mail not Safari) and Safari opens. Are you just
miscalling Mail, Safari? If Safari is opening then what browser was
your home page open in? You see the confusion? If Mail opens when you
click on its icon then you can click on the get mail icon at its top
menu. If you hear the mail truck, that sounds like your webmail within
your Earthlink home page. ???
