Dear members,

I own an iMac333 and would like to purchase VirtualPC, but I am afraid
that the new version may need a faster processor than the one that my
iMac333 has.

I wonder if you've had experiences related to this issue.

I mean, can Virtual PC6 be run at a decent speed in an iMAC 333?
If not: which version runs decently?

Thanks

Jorge

Like most other things, it will run better with more memory. I ran version 5 with Windows98 on my 333mhz Lombard, and it was virtually (pun intended) unusable in OSX. It was OK in OS9. Virtual PC 6 doesn't run in OS9, so prepare to be disappointed with the speed, especially if it's using a more processor-intensive OS like XP. If you only have one or two things you need a PC for, it can be a decent solution. For everyday use I think it's too slow.
