I just got my sister an iMac for her 35 mm slide scanning project:
G4 700 MHz / 256 MB / 40 GBHD / 15" LCD
Now I need to get a scanner.
I've been looking at a the Pacific Image PF 3650 Pro 3 Slide & Film Scanner for about $400:
<http://www.scanace.com/en/product/pf3650pro3.php>
or the nicer (and about $600) MINOLTA DiMAGE Scan Elite 5400 <http://konicaminolta.com/products/consumer/digital_camera/dimage/dimagescan-elite5400/index.html>
Has anyone used either of these scanners? Any other recommendations?
Is it worth looking at a scanner with a automatic feed?
Thanks
