It can be done. I haven't done it personally but I have checked out one 
of Terrasoft's ( http://www.terrasoftsolutions.com/tss_home.shtml )new 
Power Mac's with YDL and OSX both installed.   A good overview of Linux 
on Macs is 
http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/linux/library/l-pmac.html  It has 
a whole bunch of links at the bottom of the article. I'm sure there are 
iMac users out there somewhere playing with Linux. Just be hard to 
track them down. Kind of an underground community. :-)
