I bought a Pismo powerbook on ebay and it came with OS 10.0.3 and only one X
disk but, without classic installed, it's basically useless as is. I have OS
9 discs from a dead imac and ethics lectures aside, how can I get the Pismo
to accept the imac system 9 from the disk?
Does the Pismo not run the installer? You have to start up from the CD, hold down the C key right after the power button. If the installer won't run, the hard drive may not have OS9 drivers, which would mean reformatting required. If you do it from OSX, make sure to install the drivers.
