The initial downside is that you must get used to a different way of using the mouse. But bear in mind that my wife had been using her 12"
now perfectly happy with her 20" screen, and it took her only a few days to get used to a new way of using the mouse.

sorry, that was perhaps unclear. It's new to us... Well, for a start the Bluetooth mouse is a lot heavier than the wired one. Also, I think that the mouse cable gives a certain 'direction' to the mouse. The wireless one feels very strange at first, without a leash... Combine that with the 20" screen, and the tracking speed setting pumped up to maximum (with the help of Mouse Zoom - I think the Apple highest setting is not quite fast enough on a 20"), and you need to adjust to much smaller movements to cover pretty huge chunks of screen space. I think that you actually need to do less movement on the desk; but because you cover more screen space, you need to be much more precise. We kept overshooting the target! So I simply meant, it's a 'different' way, rather a than a new one - the mouse is still one button, same shape etc. It's not translucent as the Pro mouse. It's mother-of-pearl like, quite stunning, actually.
