I don't know about the bluetooth mouse, but with the Pro Mouse with the
cable, (I know it's different), you can
click and lift while holding the click to reposition. I do it all the
time.
If you look on either  side of the mouse, it has half moon shaped
cutout flexible areas that if you grip there with fingers on either
side, it easily holds a click while being lifted.

It's the same on the Bluetooth. You get the same 'half-moons' and they perform the same function.
