Can wireless-G be used on an imac 400mhz or is it better to stick with B?

See John Teffer's reply for the technicals.

I'm just wondering - why bother?

The 802.11b card in your iMac can connect to a g WAP just fine. And at 11 Mbps (raw), it's +/- 3x faster than any Internet connection you probably have... IOW, unless you have some specific need for higher speed connectivity, I don't think it's worth the effort.

FWIW,
- Dan.
