Hi All,
What are your opinions for best browser for 9.2.2 using iMac DV SE graphite
w/512 ram
"Best" is a highly subjective term. The answer, truthfully, is "nothing."
The reason for this is that Flash, Java, XML, CSS and Javascript have all moved out of the range of the ability of OS 9 browsers to render dependably. A heck of a lot of websites use "old" standards in the name of compatibility, but as time goes on the problem will continue to get worse.
You could probably still get by with iCab or Wamcom (a OS-9 version of Mozilla, sort of) for a while yet, particularly if you're not trying to surf the "breaking edge" of the web ("cutting edge" of surfing? Didn't sound right).
