I am just now getting around to browsing through the various benefits
of .Mac membership. Is Virex from McAfee?

Given that there are no Mac viruses, all antivirus products work equally well. :)

Virex has been set to be almost invisible on my system. I update it once in a while, more out of boredom than anything else. As far as I know, it works and doesn't bother me all the time the way Norton used to. I do not consider it a factor in deciding whether I will continue my .Mac membership -- there are too many other great benefits to commend .Mac without taking Virex into account.
