Q. What about Norton Anti-Virus?
A. Oddly enough, Symantec is going full steam ahead with NAV, despite the fact that there are no real viruses for OS X but a real need for competition in the disk-utility area. <shrug> NAV will continue to be sold and updated/supported for OS X for the foreseeable future.
When I was using SAM/NAV on my OS 7 through 9 machines, I noticed that their monthly "updates" seemed to be MS Office macro virus targeted. Since I don't use MS Office, I decided to no longer "update" and eventually wiped NAV off the computers.
