Hi there, I'm also running OS9.2.2 and use iTunes 2.
For music downloads I have used LimeWire and an excellent program called Drumbeat. Drumbeat was almost 100% successful in finding any song that I looked for. I am also on dial-up and know how excruciating it is getting songs in this way (for me, I am on a 28kbps dial-up). I did this for a while until I simply got bored. Now I buy CD's off eBay. The songs I look for are usually of the last 10-15 years so the albums sell for next to nothing on eBay. So I get the album and therefore CD quality music. I'd probably use Drumbeat for getting more recent songs where I'm not interested in paying full price for an album I'm really not interested in. Otherwise eBay and Drumbeat/Limewire together have been a great solution. -- 'What happens to the hole when the cheese is gone?'
