Very slow launch of Mail is one of the major gripes I've heard. Sometimes in excess of 75 seconds.
My slow PB I complained about had Mail open within 3 seconds, and had checked all four of my email boxes (on three different ISPs) and downloaded an email within 11 seconds. Of course, a boxful of email would take longer.
