There's a book I've probably suggested to you before, but I really strongly entreat you to take a look -- it's called the OS X Conversion Guide by Scott Kelby and is available from Amazon, Apple retail stores, most large booksellers and many other places. I think it has the approach you require -- the left side of each spread shows how (something) was done the OS 9 way, and the right side shows how it's done the OS X way. Take a look online (Amazon lets you take a sneak peek, if I recall) or in a bookstore and see if it wouldn't be right for you.
