Look on the front, lower right of the iMac, (to the right of the mouth
of the CD drive and to the left of the right speaker) there is a 3/8"
button, push it and the iMac should start up.
I have been using a third party keyboard for a whiie, works just fine.

I got some info off the 'Net, and it seems that the power button on
iMac
keyboards may be proprietary.
I suppose I'll go keyboard hunting tomorrow.
