One thing I have always been affected by is the way the Mac OS has always spread invisible files everywhere it goes. In Mac OS 9 and backwards it was one thing and now it's the .DS_store files.
Fine, they're invisible (to me), but not to all the technically minded people in my company who have their PCs set to see all invisibles, 98% of the company.
People are wondering what these .DS_store files are that appear wherever I have been on the server.
Is there no way of preventing the Mac from creating these files when browsing server disks ?
I know they remember the last opened view, but who cares ???

I never had that problem until I started using Open Step X. Even my Macintosh using computer sees those weird files & folders. I would like to know how to either stop them from being created or to eliminate them automatically.
