You can stack more than two. In fact, an Applecare tech told me the other
day that you can stack even 6 with no problem. They specifically say on
their site that they are designed to be stacked. Why anybody would want
more than 6 I don't know but if I had more than that, I would start another
stack and even them out.
Can you point to where it is written? Actually, it seems to me that they removed the animated picture with Mac mini stacked next to a regular PC. Either that or I can't find it anymore.

Of course, that might be just Apple covering their backs.
