500 Mhz G3 iMac won't power up.
When I plug it in and push the power button on the machine, there is a short
squeal, a popping noise, and a small flash of light in the back of the unit.
Pushing the power button a second time gets no reaction at all. Unplugging
and replugging gets the same "squeal, pop, flash" again. Pushing power key on
keyboard gets no results in any instance.
Anyone know what this is? Any chance something has come unplugged/unseated
that will be relatively easy to remedy?
Thanks,
Jean
