I know what you mean.  Like it or not faxing is still a major part of the
business world.  As much as we would all like to just use email, sometimes
it's just not possible.  I work in the medical field and having a usable fax
or fax software with a scanner is MANDATORY for me.
I've invested in pagesender (do a google search), it works well for me
although I may still need to buy an actual fax machine if I get this new job
that I've applied for.
