Hi Steven;

Sleep works fine.

Screen saver works fine when machine is NOT in use.

The star field is plenty 'soft light' when the screen saver
activates after 10 minutes as I have set.

This is about the BRIGHTNESS WHILE the machine is in use.

Try turning on an iMac @ 1am in a 'black room' to get the idea.

Blinding!
