I need to restore Apple's MAIL program (I erased it). Can anybody help me figure out how to do this -- without doing a complete OS-X restore. Apple's web site has been unhelpful. I have the original OS-X install discs, completely legal and licensed, but MAIL is not among the items which can be custom installed. I would think that there might be a free download, but who knows.

Pacifist is a shareware utility from http://www.charlessoft.com/ which will let you extract Mail.app from your installation disc.
