I installed Firefox some time ago on my 500 and I haven't had so much as a blip of problems I have basically the same configuration 10.2.8, Safari, IE etc, I am quite pleased with the speed at which it loads, I haven't clocked it but I would swear it has to be 4 or 5 times faster than IE, and just a shade faster than Safari...
I'm ok with it

wrong.

Recently installed Firefox on my iBook (G3, 500mhz, OS X 10.2.8) and my
iMac DV (G3, 400mhz, OS X 10.2.8)

As of two days ago, I cannot launch either Safari or Internet
Explorer.... they crash practically before opening a window....
