Just read this at Newegg:
One shortcoming, unless I have overlooked it somewhere, is the IP3000 will not print on 8 x 10 paper, one of the most popular sizes for enlargement. I even d/l the latest software from the Canon site ...
If this is so, the Canon doesn't qualify as all purpose printer.
