No joy -- the internal modem doesn't even show up as a choice.

PROBLEM SOLVED! I HAD TOO MANY SPLIT-OFFS ON THAT PHONE LINE, 3 MODEMS (IMAC INCLUDED) AND A PHONE. I CONNECTED JUST THE IMAC, AND THE MODEM CONNECTED JUST FINE! NOW I HAVE TO FIGURE OUT WHERE TO PUT THE OTHER STUFF...THE PC CAN GO IN THE GARAGE
