Am still in hopes that the PCI FW(and USB) cards that are in my ol'
smokin' BeigeG3s will be able to handle the iPod's connection in
some doable fashion, even at the card's rated FW400 speed. But, as
I gather it, putting OSX on the Beiges should be good to go, but how
'bout OS9(not classic), and mor likely OS9.21 or 9.22??, and w/o an
install of OSX??
Also, am a lil' concerned as there was no Dock supplied with the iPod,
only a FW cable and power adapter, what piece of gear should I be
looking to find for possible docking suspects??, and where to look??
Again, Chaz loadz of Thanx for your input here, as well as for all of
those Guru hotrod mods of various Macs do ups of yours.
