Before packing up it was working fine. The two computers where linked via 10/100
Ethernet to a router and then to my NTL cable modem, allowing shared internet access.
After setting up this morning in exactly the same manor I could not get the eMac
to connect to the outside world. The PC however was fine.
The only difference being I bought 3 new ethernet patch cables. One from the
eMac to the router, one from the PC to the router and one for the router to the
cable modem - all exactly the same.
Do I have to reconfigure the Mac? Is it a dodgy cable? Do I need a special cable from the Mac to the router?
