Hi I bought some memory off of eBay for my G4 Mirror Door Power Mac at work. It has 2x 256Mb DIMMS installed already and purchased a 512MB DIMM to go in it. I have installed it but nothing shows up.
I know Mac memory is pretty specific, but I have checked the G4 Manual against the specs on the eBay listing (which are below) and it seems fine. What's the problem? The Specifications Are: 512MB 333MHZ 184PIN DDR Memory, No-ECC. Higher performance over mainstream PC100 or PC133 memory.
