From: Lilith von Fraumench <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> It looks intriguing but it doesn't yet support binaries. Alas, my beloved Thoth is no longer being developed and I just don't like many of the alternatives.
Lil:
I'm coming in very late on this conversation, but wanted to mention the two programs I've been happy with over the years for Usenet reading/downloading/posting:
1. MT-Newswatcher -- I used this up until Unison came out, for many many years. In conjunction with a small program that automatically decoded binaries, it worked perfectly for me and I was very happy with it once I learned it's ins and outs.
2. Unison -- $25 from Panic, one of the best investments in shareware I've ever made. A totally different, graphical approach to Usenet, this one is for people like me who download files from Usenet (in my case, mostly music videos). Check it out at www.panic.com.
