1. It actually takes several minutes to load OnyX after I click on it;
is this normal?
No. You have a bad copy, or (more likely) you have accidentally
downloaded the Jaguar version of the program. Trash everything related
to it (do a search for all files with the word "onyx" in them),
download a fresh copy and re-install.
