Most slot-loaders have FW, and most will run Tiger (your Summer 2001 will, definitely). There may be an Indigo G3 iMac slot-load that won't run Tiger because it doesn't have FW (can't recall for certain) but that would be the only slot-loading G3 iMac that couldn't.
Look, it's not that hard. If your G3 iMac has built-in FW ports, you can run Tiger. If it doesn't, you can't. All G4 and G5 iMacs can.
