The replacement is SATA (as was the orig,, of course) but SATA HD cases with Firewire or USB 2 connections appear to be impossible to find in Taiwan or Thailand.
Does anybody know if it would be possible to connect using SATA? Double adapter, splitter etc? There is no room inside for a second drive, how could it be connected?
I am asking on the off chance that there is a known and workable solution; I won't be doing any 'R & D' on my iMac. Not from the back, anyway.
2) Why do my messages (and those of some others) to iMac list and Gbooks get corrupted (the =20) on line returns, etc?
Something I found useful re my hockey pucks is to get a medium half=20
round bastard file, and using the back (rounded bit) file a groove in=20
the clicker, directly above the cord, at an angle of about 25 - 30=B0.
TIA,
Stuart.
