Thanks for the replies about the funny lines on my eMac screen. I hope you were kidding when you said it could give up the ghost any time.
Is it really that serious - I cant afford a new Mac or even a secondhand Mac. Are you sure its the video card or power supply, could it just be an unexplainable mystery? or something totally "not death of my Mac" related.
