A friend is giving me his 2000 15-inch G4 Powerbook that he dropped three
times, which works but has screen and hinge problems. His parents bought him
a new one, cuz he convinced them that the price to fix/replace the screen
would be too high and the Mac was getting old anyway. My question: How much
should I expect to pay to get the screen fixed/replaced? Do you trust
third-party businesses to do this, or just Apple?
Thanks much,
B
