Getting an update might be problematic. The company was owned by
Connectix back then, now it's owned by Microsoft. I have VPC 7 and
had a little problem installing it on my iMac G5. So, I had to call
(choke, gasp) Microsoft....although it wasn't as unpleasant as I
thought it would be and I was expecting that I'd have to PAY for
support....all went smoothly and they did answer my questions and
help me install it. And, I didn't have to pay anything. I was
shocked. I even told the woman I was talking to that I had expected
worse.
She chuckled....

So is it that virtual PC does not run or virtual PC runs but Windows
never loads? I wonder if 95 was ever compatible with vpc? Maybe
try win98

The vpc window comes up but nothing loads into it. If I try to
click on any
menu selections nothing happens. Mouse moves but has no effect
selecting
items. Clock freezes until I force quit vpc. Win 95 came with this
version.
Years ago I successfully installed this using OS 8.6 and an 8600.
As I
recall I simply installed vpc, clicked on it and got a 95 window.
Lately
I've tried the same on my Lombard and this G3 iMac, both
unsuccessfully.
