Why should Apple? There are already tons of them on the market, and in fact, Apple has written OS X to automatically detect and support right mouse buttons and scroll wheels. They just refuse to issue the hardware itself. >My question is, are there any USB mice available that have the two buttons >and scroll wheel that are also Mac-compatible? (Sorry if this question was >already asked and answered. I came in in the middle of this thread.) Absolutely. Go check out any Apple dealer or anyplace that sells Apple hardware. Or for that matter, just go buy ANY USB two button scroll wheel mouse... it need not specificially support Macs. Like I said above, Apple write support for them into OS X (at least Panther and later, I'm not sure where the support appeared), so you can get any old $5 windows USB mouse and use it with your Mac. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
