Hi!
I have inherited a unused g3 iMac (700mhz, running Panther.)
The problem is, no one has a clue to the password.
So far I've:
1. tried booting from a panther cd
2. took the PRAM battery out
3. tried to get to the open firmware page (has a password)
4. tried to use the option key to get into the start up disk menu
5. removed the RAM and put in different RAM
6. hit the reset button on the motherboard
And the password isn't "password,", I checked. :)
Any ideas how I can render it usable? I either get the Open Firmware
password screen or the screen asking for the admin password.
Help!
