I agree with Charles on the .mac, although I don't use my .mac address
for my everyday mail. I am a heavy user of my 2 gb of web space and I
use my .mac homepage for work (I'm a teacher and I update it daily for
my students and parents. Its mine so I don't have to get approval for
everything, so I can update it whenever, whereever.).
I do have a problem with my Mail.app using my .mac adress. I can
receive, but when I try to send the mail doesn't go. The error message
I get says, "The connection to the server "smtp.mac.com" on port 25
timed out. Anybody know what I set up incorrectly?
I'm running 10.3.9 on a 1 GHz PowerPC G4 with 512 MB DDR SDRAM. 10.4
is in the box waiting for me to have the spare time. Only 5 more weeks
of kid soccer!
One more question, I created an iMovie and tried to move the entire
folder from one computer to another (via firewire) and it lost
components along the way both times (I tried it with first one then the
other computer in firewire mode).
Is there another folder that contains more of the data? This was a
movie made up of stills, transitions and mp3 background music.
Thanks
KP
