I'm puzzled. I design websites and check them on as many browsers and operating systems as I can. I like Opera, but Mozilla Firefox is my favourite browser on any platform - I've found only one site it doesn't work with and I really like tabs. What is it about Opera that makes you prefer it to Firefox?
I know little about designing websites. I use Safari primarily (OS X 10.3.9) and Opera occasionally , but you are right about the value of Firefox. Not infrequently I come across a site that works only in Firefox. For example, my DSL provider has their own speed test they ask me to use when I experience any problem with their service. For whatever reason that I do not understand, I must keep Firefox at the ready when I am asked to test my line.
