I picked up an original Bondi 233 on eBay for next to nothing. To my surprise, it worked perfectly. Immediately, I began to investigate upgrade paths. It looked like a 333 card would work as a direct replacement, so I got one. I had a couple of 128mb PC133 sdrams left over from a Pismo upgrade. I got the video ram upgrade from the Lemswap list. I got a bigger hard drive to try a triple boot with ubuntu linux, OS 9.2.2 and OSX 10.3.9. With all this stuff in one pile, I popped the Mac apart after studying the manual. Everything went in without a hitch, so I re-assembled and plugged it in. Nothing...no lights, no chime. Checked all the connections, nothing. Took it apart and put all the old stuff back - nothing. Replaced the PRAM battery, still nothing. I could not see a CUDA switch. Does anyone have an idea of something I overlooked, or have I killed my little Mac?
Thanx,
Vic Mabus
