that explains why they are blank, and after thinking about it, i assume the
reason they all get thru comcast's spam

emails that make it classify something as

Correct.
But... it still means Comcast has blown it. Obviously a totally
empty email is bogus and should be killed at the server, not passed
on to the end-user.
