Elaborate please. "having a problem" doesn't help. Does the disc shoot out of the drive and get lodged in the wall behind you? Does the computer make a grinding sound followed by a belch? Does the disc ever get mounted? What app have you set to use DVD-Video discs? Does that app get launched? Does it crash? Does it explode? Did you change brands of popcorn? Did you change to using some sort of hot sauce on the popcorn, then spill it into your keyboard? Can't suggest much without at least some detail... ;)
