I don't have one, but I know the disadvantages of not having one. Particularly in the Nov/Dec timeframe, the genius bar is way too busy. I've had two hour waits. I've been turned away entirely. If you've got to plan ahead because the Apple store is a long drive, it probably is worth it to make sure you get seen in a timely fashion.
