Hello, I just signed up for this list so forgive me if it has been
covered... My partner does transcription from audio CD and DVD, and
finds the G3 iMacs ideal for the purpose. We are getting a second DV
Special Edition 500 tomorrow so we can retire the Beige G3 that is
slowly dying.
My main question is how to unstick the drive when it barely ejects the
disc... It works but is scary about letting go and pushing it all the
way out - it seems that there should be an easy way to lube it for easy
removal, but I don't want to go poking around without some advice.
Any help?
