I put a drive (250 GB) from a wintel box in a firewire housing and it
worked okay, tho' =way= slow. But for the life of me, I don't
remember if it was a fat32 format. From what I've read, fat32 and X
is a should/kinda/maybe work sorta thing. Reformatted to Mac OS
Extended and it works nicely.
Google "OS X and fat32" and you'll find comments from folks who had
experience with this.

Using 10.3.9, is there anyway to access and possibly rescue some
audio (flac) files from a drive out of a win98 box? I put it in a
firewire enclosure and it showed up on my desktop, but froze my
computer. I'm assuming it's FAT32, and probably needs to be NTSF,
but I don't know much about that kind of stuff and I'm having no
luck searching help lists.
