Thanks for your input on the unstable eMacs folks, I have another issue for your consideration...
I have a couple of old G3 iMacs (Sage and Flower Power) hanging around doing very little just now, and may have a third on the way when my dad upgrades. I understand that Front Row can only be made to work with a hack, and that it runs very slowly on G3 machines anyway. So does anyone have suggestions for alternative media (audio and video) software which will run on a G3 iMac?
