How about doing a search on ebay for what you are looking for? You can enter in part numbers, descriptions, etc - and it will search its listings daily, and e-mail you with any possible hits that it finds - I found a hard to find radio by entering the model numbers in, and after a few months it came up with a hit. You could do one search looking for the whole computer, perhaps one part is trashed, but the motherboard is still good - keep the motherboard, sell the excess parts or keep them.
Also, I would start hopping on all of the mac newsgroups and put the word out - Dennis On Thursday, September 25, 2008, at 04:14AM, "Brian Troisi" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I hate to say this, but replacing the motherboard is more than to buy >a new iMac G4.
