Hi, I have 1/2 a dozen old iMacs all running various versions of OS X, and all of which have been updated numerous times since their purchase some years ago. I need to somehow work out what version of the OS they all shipped with (when they were first purchased)... and I'm not quite sure how I'm going to do that.
Is there an online database that can be used to look-up machine specs including the original OS using the serial #'s or some such? I know Dell has something similar with Service Tag #'s. Or does anyone have another idea on how I can work out the machines original operating system versions? I suspect they all ran 10.2 - 10.3.
