Let's see if I can remember all of the answers I got to these questions recently! (And some I already knew)

You may have to reboot the router also. > 3. How much more secure is it? The general answer is "MUCH MORE" and exact quantity varies daily as more attempts are made to hack it > 4. Do I go for WPA or WPA2? Not sure if my Nokia E71 supports WPA2 Well WPA2 is better than WPA and if you're lucky- your router supports a mode where both can be used- I've seen this before. Obviously, just test with your phone- if wpa2 works, it works. ** Interestingly- the Nokia E71 is listed as having wpa2 support on the web, but not with all routers! Be sure to have the latest firmware and Symbian OS updates... > 5. Is it any slower than Unsecured or WEP networks? I'm being told "NO" by some, but personally I think that the destruction and constructed of encrypted packet headers HAS to be slower than non-encrypted because I used to experience serious throughput degradation with out work VPN because of packet overhead. It's probably just not a LOT slower. > Any further advice would be great.
