Easier because you don't need the password in HEX

As long as your router supports it, yes.   You may have to reboot the router
also.

The general answer is "MUCH MORE" and exact quantity varies daily as more
attempts are made to hack it

Well WPA2 is better than WPA and if you're lucky- your router supports a
mode where both can be used- I've seen this before.  Obviously, just test
with your phone- if wpa2 works, it works.
** Interestingly- the Nokia E71 is listed as having wpa2 support on the web,
but not with all routers!  Be sure to have the latest firmware and Symbian
OS updates...

I'm being told "NO" by some, but personally I think that the destruction and
constructed of encrypted packet headers HAS to be slower than non-encrypted
because I used to experience serious throughput degradation with out work
VPN because of packet overhead. It's probably just not a LOT slower.
